The purpose of this unit is to introduce the learners to the principles, concepts, processes and terminologies relating to Human Resources Management (HR). Learners will have the opportunity to understand the business environment, HR at work, HR roles and functions and the diversity within the work place, the changing nature of HR and the importance of HR to the organisation.
